Terms of use

HOMEWORKS DISCLAIMER

Homeworks website contains information related to its existing business of retailing home-line products.

All information provided on the Homeworks The Homecenter website is for general informational purposes only.  All information on the site is provided in good faith, therefore, no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability or completeness of any information on the site.

Further, under no circumstance, Homeworks shall be held liable for any loss or damage as a result to the use of the site or reliance to any information provided to the site.  The use of this site and reliance to the information provided is solely at your own risk. 

WARRANTY
Warranty varies depending on the type of item purchased.  Please make sure that you keep the warranty card and sales invoice (transaction receipt) for warranty purposes.

REPAIR / JOB SERVICE
Purchased items subject for repair are directed to the respective authorized service centers of each brand.


RETURN AND EXHANGE POLICY
For Homeworks to process the return and exchange request, please make sure that:       

  1. The item to return has factory defects.
    2. You have the original sales invoice of the item purchased.
    3. Your request for return /exchange is still within the 7-day duration.
    4. The item is in good condition and complete upon return.
    *All parts are intact with the box and accessories, if there were any.
    5. Reasons to return/exchange fall on the acceptable reasons given by the Department of Trade and Industry.

REFUND (accepted if the repair service would take longer time due to lack of parts/materials)
Refund shall be processed given the following conditions are met:
              1. The defect was proved to be not caused by the mishandling of the customer
              2. The item upon return is complete together with the box and accessories.
              3. The Original sales invoice was presented.

Processing time is dependent on the type of purchase transaction used:
1.2.1 Cash transaction: 15 – Head Office working days, release through check.
1.2.2 Credit, Debit and Financing transaction:  Reversal Refund; processing time is dependent on the bank policy.

DELIVERY SERVICE
Homeworks has special delivery service at Homeworks Commonwealth Branch.  Specific rates are given depending on the place of delivery.

CARD POLICY
All major credit cards are accepted across all Homeworks Branches
Straight Payment: RCBC, Standard Chartered, Diners, UnionBank, Citibank, MetroBank, HSBC, BDO, BPI and Home Credit
Deferred / 0% / installment Payment: Citibank, Metrobank HSBC, BDO

 

 

 

WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

By accessing and using the Website (www.homeworks.center), owned and operated by HOMEWORKS THE HOMECENTER INCORPORATED (the Company), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below. 

If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement, or do not understand the Agreement, or if you need more time to review and consider this Agreement, please leave the Website Immediately.  The Company only agrees to provide use of the Website and Services to you if you assent to this Agreement.

    1. Company, Us, We: The Company, as the creator, operator, and publisher of the Website, make the Website and certain Services on it, available to users. Homeworks the Homecenter Incorporated, Company, We, Us, Our, Ours and other first person pronounce will refer to the Company, as well as all employees and affiliates of the Company.
    2. You, the User, the Client: You, as the User of the website will be referred t throughout this Agreement with second person pronouns such as You, Your, Yours, or as User or Client.
    3. Parties: Collectively, parties to this Agreement (the Company and You) will be referred to as Parties.

  2. AGE RESTRICTIONS

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use this Website or any Services contained herein.  By using this Website, You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and may legally agree to this Agreement.  The Company assumes no responsibility or liability for any misrepresentation of Your age.

The Website, including all content features in the Website including all text, graphics, images. Logos, trademarks, and the link  (the content) and Services provided by the Company  are the property of Company.  You agree that the Company owns all right, title, interest in and to the content and the You will  not use the Content for any unlawful or infringing purpose.

 

Subject to this Agreement, the Company grants You a non-exclusive, limited, non-transferrable, and revocable license to use the Content solely in connection with Your use of the Website and Services.  The Content may not be used for any other purpose, and this license terminates upon Your cessation of the use of the Website or Services or at the termination of this Agreement.

  1. PAYMENT/SHIPPING/DELIVERY

You agree to ensure payment for any items You may purchase from Us, and You acknowledge and affirm that prices are subject to change.  You agree to provide Us with a valid email and a valid billing information.  When purchasing a physical good, You also agree to provide Us with a valid shipping address.  When purchasing a Good or Service, We reserve the right to reject  or cancel an order for any reason, including errors or omissions in the information that You provide to Us.  If We do so after payment has been processed, We will issue a refund to You in the amount of the purchase price.  We may also request additional information from You prior to confirming a sale, and We reserve the right to place any additional restrictions on the sale of any of Our products.  You agree to ensure ensure payment for any items You may purchase from Us, and You acknowledge and affirm that prices are subject to change.  You agree to monitor Your method of payment.

 

The Company accepts the following methods of payment through the Website:

  1. Credit Card ( all Visa Cards)
  2. Gcash
  3. Grab Pay

If payment will be by card, You must be fully entitled to use the card or account.

Shipment costs and dates are subject to change maybe different from the costs and dates that You are quoted due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Company ships to areas in Metro Manila only.

The shipping of Goods will be through Transportify.

The period for delivery of Goods is withing 5 – 7 days.

You acknowledge and accept that there are inherent risks with downloading any digital Goods.  Please contact Us using the details at the end of this agreement if you experience technical problems regarding delivery of digital Goods.

We take no responsibility for Goods that are lost or damaged during delivery.  If Goods are damaged during delivery, please contact Us using the details at the end of this Agreement.  We may choose in Our sole discretion whether or not to replace Goods which are lost or damaged during delivery.

  2. Determine whether or not You have breached this Agreement;
  3. Record any correspondence that occurs in public sections of the Website or Service;
  4. Review any allegations about breaches of these Website or Service and determine in Our sole discretion whether t take any action in response to those alleged breaches, including removal of any Content in relation to those alleged breaches;
  5. Determine in our sole discretion whether to terminate Your or another user’s access to any particular section or sections of the Website or Service.

You are strictly prohibited from using the Website or any of the Company’s Services for spam activities. Including gathering email address and personal information from others or sending any mass commercial emails.

 

  1. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties with respect to any  and all use of this Website.  The Agreement supersedes and replaces all prior contemporaneous agreements or understandings, written or oral, regarding the use of this Website.

If any part or sub-part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of law or competent arbitrator, the remaining parts and sub-parts will be enforced to the maximum extent possible.  In such condition, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force.

 

  1. NO WAIVER

Our failure to enforce ant provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of any future enforcement of that provision or any other provision.

 

No waiver shall be deemed to have been made unless expressed in writing and signed by Us.  Waiver of any part or sub-part of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of any other part or sub-part or of the same part or sub-part on a future date.
